Each floor plan includes detailed and dimensioned 2D exterior elevations and floor plans as well as concept plans for foundation, floor framing, and roof framing. Additional options like door and window schedules, a roof plan, and suggested electrical and flooring layouts.

While plumbing fixtures are shown on the plans (and plumbing drops on the floor framing plan), HVAC plans are not included.

No, the copyright for the design remains with Domani Home Design. Purchasing a plan grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-use, revocable license to use the Product solely for personal use. If you need to build multiple homes, please reach out to us for multi-use licensing options (see below).

Your floor plan purchase includes a single-use license, allowing you to build only one home. If you wish to build more than one home from the same plan, you must purchase an additional license for each build. Please reach out to us for multi-use licensing options.

Our plans are designed to comply with general residential design standards, but due to the variety of local building codes and regulations, we cannot guarantee that they will meet all requirements in your area. It is recommended to consult with a local building professional or your local building department to ensure compliance with your area’s requirements.

Due to differing regulations per region, area, and/or municipality, online plans are not stamped by an architect or engineer. Some regions require a local professional to review and stamp the plans before permits are granted. Please check your local regulations.

We currently do not offer study sets for purchase. Check back in the future, as we are consistently updating and adding to our shop inventory.

The number (and types) of copies you need will depend on your local building department’s requirements. Typically, you’ll need at least one copy for yourself, one for your contractor, and one for the building department.

You may print copies for personal use during the construction process, but redistribution or resale of the plan is strictly prohibited.

If you lose your files, contact us with proof of purchase, and we will provide a replacement link within a reasonable timeframe.

Yes, you may share the purchased plan with your builder and necessary subcontractors to complete your project. However, they may not reuse the plan for other builds without proper licensing.

Floor plans that are purchased as a .dwg file can be modified to suit your specific needs, contact us at hello@domanihomedesign.com to purchase the .dwg plan. We recommend these changes be made by a local architect or designer familiar with your local building codes. Please note that modifications may require additional time and cost.
